After four months of political wrangling following October’s parliamentary election, Tunisia finally has a new government, led by Prime Minister Elyès Fakhfakh. 

The latest fact sheet from POMED, “Four Months in the Making: Tunisia’s New Government,” outlines Tunisia’s new cabinet and the composition of its parliament—both of which will face unprecedented challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, on top of continuing economic troubles and an ongoing democratic transition now entering its ninth year.
