Project on Middle East Democracy

Support POMED

Over the last year and a half, the Project on Middle East Democracy (POMED) has blossomed from a promising idea into a vibrant young organization. We have held three conferences in the Middle East bringing together young Americans and Middle Easterners, organized eight panel discussions in Washington on political reform in the region, published numerous articles and op-eds, and recruited a dedicated Board of Advisors lending strategic and developmental expertise to the organization. We have started to organize an influential constituency for democracy, and now we are seeking your help in bringing its voice to bear on American policy towards the Middle East.

Now, POMED is seeking funding to continue and expand its dialogue, research, and advocacy activities in 2008. Your generous sponsorship at this crucial stage will allow the Project on Middle East Democracy to conduct a range of activities examining how the U.S. can play a more positive role in political reform in the region. With your support, POMED will be able to fill a unique role in Washington by consistently and credibly calling for the U.S. government to support genuine democratic reform in Middle East.

The Project on Middle East Democracy is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in the District of Columbia. Donations to POMED are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
