Background
Arab Center Washington DC (ACW) will be releasing the results of the 2016 Arab Opinion Index conducted by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (ACRPS) in Doha, Qatar.

The 2016 Arab Opinion Index surveyed 18,310 respondents in 12 Arab countries. This annual, large-scale public opinion survey polled Arab attitudes and views on key issues affecting the region today, including:

Political and economic conditions
Perceptions of the “Arab Spring” and ISIL
Definitions of democracy
Role of religion in public and political life
Drivers of ISIL’s popularity
Foreign policies of regional & global powers
