This week’s edition includes coverage of the international community’s response to the uptick in violence in Syria. In Yemen, the opposition and the Saleh regime grappled over a final decision on the GCC proposal outlining Saleh’s departure. Four Bahraini opposition figures were sentenced to death in a closed trial, while Fatah and Hamas agreed to a preliminary reconciliation agreement.
