Betting this Austin Powers clip has been popular today. I can’t rightfully ignore completely the Bush shoe-throwing story. Josh Marshall at TPM praises the President’s catlike instincts and questions the Secret Service’s slow response, while Reuters goes the serious route, writing that the incident is an expression of the deep frustrations felt by Middle Easterners over Bush’s legacy of failed policies in the region.
