US Interests and the Changing Game

October 10th, 2008 by Amanda

The Middle East Strategy at Harvard’s Adam Garfinkle highlights what he considers ought to be the four main interests of the United States in the Middle East. He briefly touches on how the US attempted a plan of democracy promotion to achieve its goals in the region.

Thomas Carothers also analyzes the current state and future of democracy promotion by the US in the latest issue of Democracy Journal.
