In response to the death of a pregnant woman after being struck by Egyptian Security Forces as reported by the BBC, Hossam el-Hamalawy at 3arabawy covers the public backlash. The incident sparked unrest as the woman’s “friends and relatives attacked and set fire to a police pickup truck” where “most of the policemen fled”.
