Congratulations to Egyptian blogger and activist Nora Younis, who will, along with Russian activist Oleg Kozlovsky, receive the annual Human Rights Award from Human Rights First at its 30th anniversary dinner tomorrow evening. As noted here last Friday, POMED was pleased to recently host Nora for a small discussion of the challenges faced by bloggers and democracy activists in Egypt, with several DC-based bloggers in attendance.
