Yesterday on the New York Times “Campaign Stops” blog, Thomas Donnelly and Rachel Kleinfeld took stock of where the Iraq debate sits as we move from veep-stakes hubbub to convention hoopla over the next couple weeks. Donnelly argues that McCain presents the clearer, more sensible and more courageous approach to Iraq, while Kleinfeld presents a strong counterpoint in favor of Obama’s plan.
